Out of all the Nike Dunk High colorways we’ve seen in the past two decades
Sneaker Dez Do The Dew Nike Dunk for Red Label Art Event goes beyond the simple acetone rub-down and Angelus paint and utilizes other tools of visual stimuli, and if you remember his Nike Dunk High Ironman and War Machine customs, you probably understand what we’re getting at. Here’s a look at the Dunk High ‘Desist’ that completes Diversitile’s ‘Ceast and Desist’ custom Dunk High concept; based off the War Machine Dunk High design, the ‘Desist’ features various colors taken from a black-to-white color scheme – reminiscent of the Eric Haze x Nike Dunk High. But like his previous customs, its the LED light surgically implanted into tongue that gives these customs the ‘wow’ factor. Take another look at the Nike Dunk High ‘Desist’ Custom by Diversitile and let us know which of his projects you like the most.
Out of all the Nike Dunk High colorways we’ve seen in the past two decades, the varsity royal/white pairing is one that will always be remembered. It was part of the original Be True To Your School Pack and also appeared in suede form in the Nike SB rendition of that classic capsule, so varsity royal and white has the seniority and the clout to firmly be established as one of the big-boys of Dunk High colorways. Here’s another Dunk High release featuring the same color-blocking as the University of Kentucky color-combo but with slight alterations; the swoosh as well as the bottom sole has been whited out but there’s enough blue in there to keep it close to the family.
The word Nike Dunk SB followed by Day of the Dead, most sneakerheads will immediately think of the much sought-after Dunk SB version, but a new pack is on the way that will attempt to share in the success of the original, the Halloween season rolls around Nike Sportswear is dropping three popular sneakers paying tribute to the Mexican holiday celebration that takes place at the beginning of November every year. This year will be no different then previous years with Halloween themed sneakers dropping for the guys, girls and kids. If you recall this is not the first time Nike has incorporated the Day of The Dead theme into a pair of sneakers. A few years ago back in 2006 Nike SB released the Day of The Dead SB Dunks which were quite a popular seller. These sneakers however carry a different design then those released 3 years ago.
The Nike Dunk Low Premium Day Of The Dead comes in a varsity purple and green colorway with a pattern of skeletons throughout the entire shoe. There also a slight hint of orange worked into each model.
